Explore your body and mind on a whole new level with the support of your own private silk antigravity hammock.
During each Antigravity Aerial Yoga session you will discover your body in space as you enjoy dynamic sequences focused on building strength and flexibility, before slowing it right down for a dreamy floating meditation.
Aerial Yoga is a unique blend of yoga, pilates and acrobatics. In each class you will experience a therapeutic spinal decompression, you will enhance your body awareness, explore the power of floating pranayama (Yogic breathing practices) and guided visualisation, challenge limiting self beliefs and reconnect with the joy of play!
This course is suitable for both beginners and experienced AGY flyers. We will lay the foundations in the first week and continue to build on our practice adding more exciting challenges and deeper experiences of relaxation.
AntiGravity Yoga is a full-body healing technique designed to increase ones overall health and physical agility while having fun and creating joy. This unique combination of exercises, as a moving vinyasa is intended to decompress your spine and realign your body creating harmony and balance.
*This course runs for 4 consecutive weeks. No credits or transfers after course commencement date.
During each 60 minute session, you will experience:
- Dynamic sequences, flips and inversions to challenge the physical body
- Restorative postures to nurture the body, providing the opportunity to let go and create space in slow deep holds
- A floating meditation as the sun sets over the water, leaving you lusciously relaxed AND inspired to soar, in and outside of the Yoga studio!
